Elite Hotel Brage, Borlänge - Dalarna county, Sweden

Room 403.

It's a hotel in central parts of Borlänge, which is not too much of an advantage as the busy parts of the city seem to be in a shopping area slightly outside the city (where a mall, ikea, grocery stores etc are)

This room was pretty spacious room with big bed, sitting group, slim working desk, kettle, minibar/fridge.

Amenity includes also body lotion and conditioner.

Nice to get some chocolates (which I brought home to my kids)

You can get some candies, fruit and cookies in the lobby area.

Now breakfast.

Like many other Swedish hotels, appears to be good selection of lactose free, vegan etc products.

Mornington hotel Bromma, Stockholm Sweden

Room 427.

Asked for a extra bed and got upgraded which is a great service.
Top floor has huge gym (where our kids had a lot of fun); and sauna with view over Bromma airport.
Some people might get annoyed, but I find it really cool when the airplanes fly just over the hotel before landing.
Quite much traffic on the road, so take the room toward the backside if you are sensitive to the sound.
Very thin lace curtain, I don't get how to make the room dark in the summer??

Let's see how the breakfast is tomorrow.

Comfort hotel Göteborg, Göteborg, Sweden.

Room 250.

毎度系列が変わり、今度は3度目でコンフォート。i以前はBestwesternとプライベートホテル。
今迄で一番かな。まえは建物の一番上2階だったけど今回は建物全部が同じホテル。まだ改装中。スタッフ教育に心がけているらしくどこに行っても元気な挨拶とスマイル。　髪の毛が残っていた掃除が不満で掃除をしなおしてもらった。ケトルも貸してもらった。セーフ、リンスなどまったくなし。でもソファーベッドがある部屋。きれいにしてあって好感持てる。ロビーにフリーホットドリンク、でも牛乳が切れているぞ！

Third time form me at same hotel but the operation is different each time. Private, Best Western and now Nordic Choice. I think it's the best so far. Still under reconstruction on the upper floor. Some paint smell in the corridor which I disliked.
The staff is well educated and all greet with a big smile. helpful staff. No kettle, no safe, no pen/note, no rinse etc in the room but free hot drink from the reception area. Like all other hotels, I see "save the environment" message for the towel, but they don't offer porcelain, cup but paper cup for the tea. Isn't it double message? Quite few channels on the TV. Doesn't bother me as I don't watch TV in anyway. Good city location, good Wifi.

朝食はまあまあ。あればいいな、っておもったものは
・クロワッサン等　スペシャルパン
・カッテージチーズ、デザートチーズ
・ハムの種類を増やす
・カットしてないフルーツ
・ちょこっと甘いもの。

the breakfast could been better. The selection of cheese and ham was not too impressive. Same for bread. I would like to have seen cottage cheese, desert cheese, croissant and some more fruit.

City Hotellet Eskilstuna, Eskilstuna, Sweden

Room 57.

The location of this hotel is right in front of the train station and could not be more convinient this rainy afternoon.
I am here on business but as the daycare is off tomorrow, I called and asked few weeks ago how much extra an accompanying family with two kids would cost. Nothing extra as the room I had reserved was a double. This means of course that the kids sleep with the parents, which they usually do in anyway.
The room was well cleaned. I usually check under the bed. No complaints. The toilet seat could have been "polished" better. It was probably wiped off with too damp cloth.
The lady welcoming us was very friendly.

A light meal is included on Monday to Thursday and todays menu was 'Pytti panna'. It's potato and meat cut in dices and fried up. Typical late night food, or bar food, or take care of the rest food. with this some cold cut, bread, cheese etc. To be honest, it was really nothing fancy and probably factory made that they heated up, wtill the hot, freshly cooked (heated?) food and the relaxed atmosphere was very cozy. Highly appreciated! Very nice homemade seed cracker.
Rounded off with homemade apple cake. All teabags were organic.

Quite some noise from loud music and it stopped sometime before 9pm. Wifi works fine and I would come back here again. .... we shall see how the breakfast is first. Good night!

Addition:
breakfast was standard. Not plenty but enough of the basics. Some homemade bread, jam, pickles etc. Scrambled egg of various quality. My first round was hard and the second round soft and good. What I would have liked is some dark bread ather than fluffy (and tasty) wheat bread. My kids were offered pankakes! (only them!!). Like yesterdays dinner, premade and heated one but so nice and thoughtful.

So conclusion, I recommend this place!.

Comfort hotel Malmö, Malmö, Sweden

Room 388

A Tiny Economy room. I liked how they arranged the bed. Free tea/coffee in the lobby, but it did run out in the evening. The review said fantastic breakfast, and it was good but I was not impressed. They could eg have some more on the hot side, more vegetables and some more sweet stuff (such as croissant, waffle etc). Good location and I enjoyed the free bicycle you can borrow.
